BUJINKAN STOCKHOLMAt Bujinkan Stockholm we train Japanese self-defence and budo/martial arts through the schools of Bujinkan (武神館)/Ninjutsu (忍術).
Experience a versatile type of training where you will learn both unarmed combat, with punches, throws, kicks and joint locks, as well as the use of many classical weapons, such as sword and staff. Below are a few of the areas you will train and encounter:
The strength and focus of our techniques lies in the use of timing, balance and body movement. The techniques we train are based on historical use, but are made viable for the current age by seeing beyond the form and letting the techniques come naturally from different attacks and situations. Improve your health! Train body and soul (心技体) in an informal environment for effective self-defense with roots and history from Japan. No previous knowledge is needed, the training is taught on an individual level to let everyone develop at their own speed and for us to grow our skills together. Welcome to us at Stockholm/Södermalm. |

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How DOES A regular session LOOK LIKE?
The warm-up begins with different types of cases and simple base exercises to warm up muscles and joints. We then train in pairs according to a technique that the trainer has shown. Then there are variants that emphasize the important details of technology. Elements of various tools such as a sword or bo-staff come naturally during the two hours of training.
Each level will train all levels together. It works well as we have a program where both basic training and advanced concepts are trained by everyone. It is important that beginners and those with more experience get an exchange and learn from each other.

Odd clothes like T-shirt. gym pants and socks. No shoes. After a term workout, it is recommended to purchase a keiko-gi / workout suit.
at what age can i practice?
We currently offer an adult group with a minimum limit of 15 years. After that, there is no limit to when you can start exercising. Bujinkan is a martial art that does not emphasize strength without distance, timing and flow. It is not a sport with competition moments, but a budo-art that can work out life. To see how the training is conducted, there are films under the section "Om Klubben".
I have no earlier experience. can i join?
No prerequisites are required. You will have time to work up your mobility and needy basics. Training is available for all levels who want to exercise. At first, having an interest is enough, and of course you also think it is fun!
